The Naiade also operates in Colombia

May 2007 - We quote its present owner and operator, Mr. Michael Colijn: "I have been running the NAIADE at the farm of my parents in law for the last year. The machine has performed without fail and has surprised the whole family in its simplicity of installation and operation. It has greatly improved the water situation at the farm as the quality of the water was terrible.

The local community including the mayor of the town of NOCAIMA, the senator for the region of LA VEGA and the PRESIDENT of the country have all seen the NAIADE and have understood its potential. We are now discussing how to bring the technology to the rest of the country. It is a wonderful machine that can be a significant part of Colombia’s rural water treatment.”

Say 'goodbye' to the insanitary drinking water

June 2007 - In an elementary school, which is located in a mountainous area of south-west China, children are very glad to get the safe and clean drinking water from a Naiade. The local Government official expressed that the Naiade is a very good machine to get the safe drinking water. They will buy much more of the Naiade water disinfection units to offer the clean and safe drinking water for the local children and citizens in the coming days.

Demonstration of the Naiade water disinfection unit in Gyaketi, Ghana

May 2007 - On Tuesday, May 29th 2007 representatives of the Ghanaian Government, the Hon. Ministers of the Eastern Regional Co-ordinating Council Mr. Yaw Barimah and Mrs. Susana Mensah organised a demonstration of the Naiade water disinfection unit in Gyaketi, Eastern Region, Ghana, in order to see the practical values of the Naiade. Test reports from the Ghanaian Standards Board showed an efficiency of 98% removal of Colliform bacteria and a complete removal of Streptococcus Faecalis. For the removal of water born diseases such as guinea worm Naiade can be a perfect means to use. Its ease of operation as well as its effectiveness and its low price per captive enables governments to set up a large scale system of further development of water standards, even in remote areas.
